Hi Christian, thank you for looking into this source distro issue. I didn't compare the two distros in details and used the term "some files are missing" to mean "at least one and potentially more" and didn't really mean "more than one files". Sorry for the confusion.
Regarding the removal of the camel-x.x.x-source-release version, that will be fine, but we should add the tar.gz version also to the apache-camel-x.x.x-src version.
