Hi Cameleers, next week during the ApacheCon there will be a bug bash - a contribution competition of sorts where folk contribute fixes for issues identified by MuseDev and hope to win prizes.
If we wish to participate in this we need someone to volunteer to help the organizers of the bug bash in setting up their tool, details below. Obviously we might get an increased number of pull requests that need to be reviewed as well, so additional reviewers would be appreciated. zoran ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Rich Bowen <[email protected]> Date: Thu, Sep 24, 2020 at 3:32 PM Subject: [ATTN TRACK CHAIRS] Muse.dev bug bash To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Track leaders, One of our ApacheCon sponsors, MuseDev, is running a Bug Bash for a set of Apache projects. They selected their initial group based on projects they could get their analysis tools without help from the project. While yours wasn’t one of those, they are happy to work with any of our track projects that are in Java/C/C++ and get your project added. They would just need someone familiar with building the project to spend a 30-60 minute zoom working session to help them get their platform successfully building the project. FYI, the list of projects selected was: Drill Shiro Storm Ignite Kafka Skywalking RocketMQ Helix Zookeeper Groovy Karaf Lucene-solr Royale-compiler Presumably, this list was selected because they found sufficiently many problems with them to make it worthwhile to participants. If you’re interested, please reach out to their head of engineering, Tom DuBuisson at [email protected] and he’ll work directly with you to get your project set-up for the Bug Bash. -- Rich Bowen - [email protected] @rbowen -- Zoran Regvart
