I've experimented with running a prototype to check for possible
performance regression between this release candidate and the previous
version, it gives report below:
Camel Quarkus Throughput Performance Increase
Compared to Previous Version
Camel Quarkus version | Duration | JVM req/s [%increase] | Native
req/s [%increase] | Status |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.9.0 | 1h | 2601.41 req/s [+0.00%] |
2857.53 req/s [+0.00%] | OK |
2.10.0 | 1h | 2473.71 req/s [-4.91%] | 2470.18
req/s [-13.56%] | Potential performance regression |
I don't think it is justified to veto the release based on this report as
it is still experimental.
That said, maybe it would be time to use this tool at each release and
record the reports in a ticket to start learning.
