Github permission

Hi,

I have finished my work on a small Jira ticket locally. When trying to 
push my branch to the github repository, I cannot gain access with 
either http or ssh.

Is there a configuration error on my side, or do I need to be granted 
permission first? (Email address in GitHub account used is a different 
one than this one and the one I used in Jira.)
