Hi Thanks for writing up the draft and sharing this to the group. I had a read and I think it's a great draft and that the proposal is on the right track.
As we are closing down on 4.10 LTS by end of this month, then I think this kind of work is something aimed for 4.11 onwards leading up to the 2nd LTS later this year (approach september) That would give us a number of releases to implement this and have community users help with feedback and adapt. Before it goes into a LTS release.
