Hi everyone, I am currently implementing CEP-59, which introduces In-Band Connection Draining to allow nodes to gracefully disconnect clients during maintenance, thereby eliminating ReadTimeoutExceptions during node restarts.
To ensure the smoothest possible upgrade path for existing users, I am proposing that we ship the feature disabled by default (but optionally enabled in cassandra_latest.yaml). Wanted the community's opinion on "disabled-by-default" approach for the initial release, or is there a preference for enabling it by default immediately? Rishabh
