Hi Saurabh,

you are very welcome if you like to contribute to the Castor open source
project. To get started i suggest you to pick some issues from jira that
you are interested to solve. At the begining it's best to anounnce that
you like to work on an issue by commenting on it and one of the current
commiters will then take that issue and assist you at preparing a patch.
That commiter will also be responsible to check if your patch follows
the guidlines for code contributions and do not break any of the current
features. If that's the case he will commit your patch to CVS.

If you made yourself familiar with this procedures, contributed some
patches or offered support to users you may get elected by the majority
of the current commiters to become commit carma yourself.

I suggest you to have a look at:

http://castor.codehaus.org/cvs.html#Guidelines-For-Code-Contribution

You may also join us at:

irc://irc.codehaus.org/castor

Werner and myself are frequently online on IRC between 10:00 and 18:00
CET. It may be much easier to discuss your interests and ideas on IRC
without the mail delay.

I hope this helps
Ralf
