Chukwa 0.7 enables log streaming to Solr for full text search. The next step
is to implement a simple scala search function to query Chukwa stored Solr
collections for large scale parallelized search through solr cloud for data
analytic. This feature can provide primitives for count(log search
occurrence), and group by(log search occurrence), order by(log search
occurrence).
