    hi @MJJoyce just updated this PR after an embarrassingly long time.
    The package exists at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/ocw
    i just pushed the 1.0.0 release there. I can delete it if necessary.
    What do you think about this PR? 
    I pulled the ez_setup.py code from our kind hearted, clean living friend 
kelly@apache so it is not my work but it works a treat Mike. 
    I will update the release procedure with this.
