The $watch of 'datasets' in ParameterSelectCtrl causes split() to be called on
undefined on initialization. This results in an obnoxious error that makes
testing annoying (and clutters up the console for no reason). It also prevents
the input boxes from clearing completely when the user removes all datasets.
