Within toolkit/do_data_prep, the string "ENS-MODEL" is appended to the variable
mdlList after a multi-model ensemble is created, but the mdlList is not
returned from this function.
Since this list isn't returned in subsequent calls, the user is unable to
select the ensembled data.
