Hello Team, We noticed that the createVMSnapshot API successfully takes a snapshot of a stopped KVM VM backed by an iSCSI storage pool. However, the CloudStack UI blocks this action — the snapshot option is not available for such instances in the UI.
The filtering is in compute.js — the show condition for createVMSnapshot only allows certain pool types for stopped KVM VMs. iSCSI is not in this list, so the UI hides the option even though the API works.
