LocalNfsSecondaryStorageResource vs NfsSecondaryStorageResource

To save me a bit of time, could someone explain the use case for 
LocalNfsSecondaryStorage?

Seems to be used in 
engine/storage/src/org/apache/cloudstack/storage/LocalHostEndpoint.java, but 
I've no idea why.

Any comments most welcome,
