Please test this if it matters to you then. I can’t think of any reason why it
would break in 5.1 if it worked in 5.0

Some of my admins have run local scripts against it on the cloudstack mgmt
server in the past. I think it does generate a signature bit is ignored.

Did it previously? Cloudmonkey always generates a signature and will not
work without an apikey and secret key. What would be the point of using the
unprivileged port?

cloudmonkey no longer supports the unprivileged port?

I have tested username and password support for cloud monkey.

1. It breaks when a non privileged user issue some commands.
For example: . When a non admin user issues Œlist zones¹
[CV] Not seen this. Can you let us know the error message? You can also
check the api.log and the cloudmonkey logs to debug further
2. It is not handled when the api port is set to 8096 and (username,
password) are provided.
[CV] Is this the unprivileged port? Cloudmonkey does not support the
unprivileged port (which is closed by default anyway)
3. What takes precedence when (apikey, secret key) and (username,
password) both are provided.
[CV] apikey is used in preference.

Thanks,
~Talluri
