I am going to sound like a dictator and purposely so; Please refrain from submitting to the 4.4 branch directly. Instead branch it as hotfix/4.4-<ticket-id> i.e. hotfix/4.4-7462 or alternatively hotfix/4.4/CLOUDSTACK-7462.
