Mmmh... the current database block is related to direct SQL-access, which is what OJB wants to hide. So I would go for another block, even more considering that it brings new jars that you don't need when using e.g. ESQL.
Also, in a distant future, blocks categorization can be based on license compatibility. I can imagine a Hibernate block being hosted from cocoondev.org.
