So we are okay for release. Regarding the long-term solution: Thanks for explaining the reason for needing the 2.2 DTD. We could be strict and say, if they want to use the 2.2 spec then they need to add it locally and configure their entity resolver as described. However, we would rather that it works out-of-the-box. So someone (who?) needs to contact Sun (who? and how?) and get their permission to include the 2.2 DTD. And a reminder to us: Is it okay to change our default web.xml to declare the 2.3 DTD?
