I just happened to stumble (again) onto Struts Flow, which will be added to the Struts TLP as a subproject in due time: http://struts.sourceforge.net/struts-flow/index.html
It happens to contain a copy of our beloved Rhino fork as well: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/struts/struts-flow/lib/core/
There's a mixed feeling of "hurray, hopefully they are able to help & fix the license issue", and "oh no, the genie can't be put back into the bottle".
