http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31760 Handle / Semaphore Leak? [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|Normal |Critical ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-10-21 07:36 ------- Here are the results: I downloaded Tomcat 5.5, Cocoon 2.1.5.1 and SUNs Java 1.5. I started this combination for about 1 Day. There were 8921 Handle which much lower then on my production environment (up to 40000). But there is no reason to increase the amount of Handle while doing nothing! My previous production environment which uses Cocoon 2.0.4 did not have this problem. There was no excalibur-event.jar in cocoon 2.0.4 which contains the TPCThreadManager-Class that seems to be involved in the handle leak. Can anyone test his environment for this problem? Does anyone else have this leak?? PS: I used the really great "Process Explorer" to watch the amount of Handle of the java process. ( http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml )
