But sending one request and including the XML response or doing it multiple times - is it that different? And we have some proxy generators which might also copy much of your functionality. They even use HttpClient too: http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/cocoon/branches/BRANCH_2_1_X/src/blocks/proxy/java/org/apache/cocoon/generation/ Ok, this are now generators and not transformers, but maybe we can merge them alltogether to one component (read: not sitemap component) and have both a transformer and a generator using that component. Makes sense?
