http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32156 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-12-12 22:46 ------- > I'm confused by this. This is bug 32156 and it was submitted in November, not July. My fault, correct links are: On July we sent patch to Cocoon and Pluto that handles portlet lookup to unzipped *.war directory (tested on websphere): http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29556 http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/PLUTO-52 > Do you have patches for the above? If they haven't been applied to 2.2 you can submit them for that as it will require servlet-2.3. Actually, the change from the patch is already submitted in 2.2 and caused deffering of bug 32157 where I need to find another solution. But back to this problem. > If you have pure JSR-168 portlets, the only jars that should need to be in APP-INF/lib would be pluto's jar and the portlet jar. Yes and no. We use CocoonPortlet to implement our JSR-168 portlets. That means every single portlet runs on Cocoon and needs all cocoon libraries (15MB) at its classpath. In my example we have 1 portal and 8 portlet web applications (wars) all running on its own Cocoon. If we wanted to shrinken resulted ear we had to share all cocoon libraries to all 8 portlets + 1 portal so we had to put them to ear/APP-INF/lib. I hope it is clearer now. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
