JIRA karma

I'd like to close some JIRA issues, but I don't seem to have karma for 
doing that. The only workflow action I can see is "Feedback required". 
Am I missing something? Otherwise I would appreciate if someone with 
enough power could upgrade my JIRA account, so that I can close issues.
