Hi all, I know that we currently have a mirror of the SVN in Github, however still the root repository is SVN, I would like to propose switching to using Git as the main repo.
This would allow us to start using the normal GitHub Pull-Request workflow and possibly make it a lot easier for new contributors to contribute. Also, would I propose to start using GitHub Actions, GitHub Issues and GitHub discussions as in other projects this has proven to lower the barriers for new contributors (And it avoids the Jira account approving nightmare). With the changes in the messaging defaults, that I recently deployed, mirroring GitHub activity to the dev-list should allow everyone to participate. What do the others think? Chris
