Demo 2 now works fine in FF. Demo 1 works, but is tricky to control. Click-drag moves the square a short distance, and then I get the "no entry" sign. I can then move the mouse and the square follows. Left click then drops the square. It looks like the code may be seeing extra events or dropping some events.
