Not sure I'd call the SHA1 hashes cruft; they're not required, but they are allowed. Some people may prefer them to MD5. What is total cruft is the set of sig hashes, i.e. .asc.md5 and .asc.sha1 - they serve no purpose whatsoever. >> commons-io-2.1-src.zip >> commons-io-2.1-src.zip.asc >> commons-io-2.1-src.zip.md5 >> >> Phil >> >> On 10/3/11 2:35 PM, Gary Gregory wrote: >>> Good day to you all: >>> >>> I have prepared Commons IO 2.1-RC6. >>> >>> The differences with RC5 are: >>> >>> - build.xml: Pick up Sebb's fix for the JUnit download mess. >>> >>> Tag: >>> >>> https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/io/tags/commons-io-2.1-RC6 >>> >>> Site: >>> >>> https://people.apache.org/builds/commons/io/2.1/RC6/ >>> >>> Binaries: >>> >>> https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachecommons-027/ >>> >>> [ ] +1 release it >>> [ ] +0 go ahead I don't care >>> [ ] -1 no, do not release it because >>> >>> This VOTE is open for 72 hours, until Oct 6 2011, 18:00 EDT. >>> >>> New features: >>> o Use standard Maven directory layout Issue: IO-285.
