Some reports are displayed by default and completely useless in my opinion, for example the project plugins and the plugin management pages:

As to Checkstyle - remember that the ASF releases source primarily. So if someone wants to work on extending the source, it is a potentially important factor.
I agree the source is important, but not the sporadic misaligned braces in a random snapshot of the code that was used to publish the site.
These reports would be meaningful if they were generated automatically as part of a continuous build system.
