I see several paths for you.

First, cancel the VOTE thread.

Second, decide if you want to tell people to grab the latest from SVN and
experiment or release an Alpha or Beta. If you want a release, go through
the process again...

Then publicize the availability of the code in SVN or a release to the ML,
twitter and so on.
