I forwarded the result of the vote to dev@commons. On purpose our mentors are also Commons PMC members. But you're absolutely right: in the incubation process we internally started the vote, and then we continued it into general@incubator. Maybe for a special "podling" like this we should do it also here. We'll try to improve the process for the next releases. Thanks for such valuable feedback.
