HI Artem, Compared to other Commons Components, things are moving pretty quickly for [rng]! :-)
I think the community needs to take a look at the code, comment, and twiddle a bit maybe. Then I'm sure talk of voting on release candidate will happen "quickly". My guesstimate is that there could be a release within a month of so if the code is anywhere near complete for a 1.0. The nuts and bolts of actually creating a release is detailed here: https://commons.apache.org/releases/index.html Gary On Thu, Aug 11, 2016 at 3:05 PM, Artem Barger <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm looking on the project and since I'm pretty unfamiliar w/ inner ASF > processing, was wondering what currently missing to be able to release > first version of commons-rng? > > Just trying to understand the process and probably to fill up the JIRA with > appropriate tasks which are necessary to successfully release the project > and to have a sense of progress. > > > Best regards, > Artem Barger. > -- E-Mail: [email protected] | [email protected] Java Persistence with Hibernate, Second Edition <http://www.manning.com/bauer3/> JUnit in Action, Second Edition <http://www.manning.com/tahchiev/> Spring Batch in Action <http://www.manning.com/templier/> Blog: http://garygregory.wordpress.com Home: http://garygregory.com/ Tweet! http://twitter.com/GaryGregory
