refactor similar test cases
Hi!
As part of our research, we have developed a tool to suggest refactorings
for test cases that appear to be similar. For Common-IO, it suggested these
refactorings. We believe that they can improve test maintainability going
forward and hope that you will accept this pull request. Please contact me or
