True, but nothing prevents us from incrementing the major version
number at this point.
That would also enable us, to address more pressing issues, like:
- Drop the distribution of a MacOS binary, at least not as part of
the general release.
- Move the Dockerfile to a state, where it can build a release,
including binaries for
Linux, and Windows with a single, well documented command on any
docker host.
Right now, we are (in my opinion) basically unable to create a new release.
