I performed a standard set of checks on the release archives:
[x] Verified SHA-512 checksums of binary and source archives
[x] Verified signatures
[x] Ran unit tests
[x] Verified artifact reproducibility, excluding `spdx.json` SBOMs
For the last two checks, I used the following commands:
rm -r ~/.m2/repository
mvn verify artifact:compare \
-Dreference.repo=https://repository.apache.org/content/\
repositories/orgapachecommons-1837/ \
-Dbuildinfo.ignore='*/*.spdx.json'
