Hello I'm reaching out as the author of CSV++ (CSV Plus Plus) RFC, a proposed extension to RFC 4180 that adds support for hierarchical data while maintaining full backward compatibility with existing CSV parsers. CSV++ enables arrays and nested structures through declarative syntax in column headers - allowing representation of one-to-many relationships and structured components within the familiar CSV format.
I'd appreciate your feedback on: Is the specification clear and implementable? Are there design or performance concerns we should address? Would you consider implementing CSV++ support in a future release of your solution? Do you see demand from your users for hierarchical CSV data? I'm also happy to schedule a brief call if you'd prefer to discuss. Thank you for considering this. Your perspective as a maintainer of CSV apache commons would be invaluable in strengthening this specification. Feel free to forward this email to any party of interest that you think will benefit from this new RFC. Best regards, Marcelo Caldas [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
