AFAICT the actual changes were not reported to any mailing list. Can you point me to the commit diff that was made in 3c2c8fe2f for example? To review them, one has to check the changes in GitHub one at a time. Much more work than reviewing individual emails. The lack of commit diffs may be a consequence of pushing so many changes at once. Compare with https://lists.apache.org/thread/7tzg8ywwoywns40r3qbls08tzn0s0jhs which shows the exact changes for a single commit.
