A few months ago I went to a very interesting short talk by Terence Eden,
about getting a number of power-related symbols (eg power on, power off)
into Unicode. There's a lot of info on the process, including the evidence
you have to gather, at http://unicodepowersymbol.com/ . If you're keen,
he's probably a good person to ask for advice!
