Unfortunately, that is not quite true.
The projects.a.o website currently gets its data from DOAP files.
These are not mandatory, and not all PMCs create or maintain them.
I don't think there is any independent registry of projects.
There are various sources of PMCs, but a PMC may have many code projects.
On the one hand, it's close enough to "true" for the purposes of this
ToDo item. On the other hand, it seems like an excellent opportunity for
the creation of another Help Wanted task to verify the existence of
every project on projects.a.o and create DOAP for those that are missing.
