Is there any donation of space, money, time, organising power, etc. from
a third party? If so, then the event isn't 100% run by ComDev.

Is there money coming from ComDev to support this initiative? Then
absolutely Marketing & Publicity and Brand need to be aware of the
situation.

I misspoke previously - VP Brand isn't Sally, she's VP Marketing &
Publicity. Both VPs should be kept in the loop on these events.

Yeah, I think that's wise, especially if any third parties are involved
in paying for any resources, providing space, or seek to sponsor the
efforts.
