Hello All, The ALC [1] Indore Chapter [2] is planning to organize a "Workshop on Apache Kafka" on the 12th of May 2023, Friday. This is an introductory session and another step in raising awareness about various Apache projects and fostering student interest in contributing to these projects.
As per ALC Event guidelines [3], we would like to request PMC approval for this upcoming event. The workshop will be an interactive in-person event to understand the concepts of Apache Kafka step by step and get hands-on experience covering the following topics: - Introduction to Apache Kafka - Brief History and Use cases - Kafka Event and Event Streaming - Kafka Topics and Partitions - Console Source and Sink Connector - File Source and Sink Connector - Producers and Consumers Speaker: Ravi Lodhi, Engineering Lead, HotWax Systems The event is sponsored by HotWax Systems and will be hosted at their Indore Office.
