The intended scope of these guilds is to provide a skill based vector for
identifying opportunities to contribute.

Ideally the function of these guilds would be to give new volunteers a way to
navigate the foundation and find opportunities to contribute to any project as
long as it's in their wheelhouse, as well as to provide members with ways to
centralize the solutions to problems they've already solved.

I'm aware of those but I'm thinking about groups like webdesign@, uiuxdesign@,
writers@, graphicdesign@, etc.

builds@ is a great start IMO, in fact it's what this entire model is based on.
I'm proposing that we try to do it several more times for other skills.

Ideally these are meant to connect opportunities to people as well as provide a
sort of cross project expertise / perspective, like the builds@ group does.

I'm not sure about advertising these guilds to members as I'd imagined this as
an entry vector for new contributors. It would be easier to direct people to
the foundation to do things if we had organized groups that could put people in
touch with opportunities to contribute directly.
