Hi all,

My name is Jason; I'm a PMC member on the Apache Solr project.

Earlier this year we started hosting monthly "virtual meetups" over video
call. The meetups are well attended, but of course there's no single time
that works for everyone. And so there's been some interest in the
community around having these recorded and made available for folks who
couldn't make it.

We had a few thoughts about how this could be done (e.g. using the "Record"
feature built into Google Meet, Zoom, etc. and then uploading to youTube).
But since this is new territory for us, we wanted to see first if there
were any "Best Practices" for this sort of thing.

Has anyone here worked with a project that records and shares video? If
so, what have your experiences been like? Were there any unexpected
problems that we should be aware of?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

Best,

Jason
