Following up on Shane’s remarks about identifying audiences, and leading them
through a story, I’ve been thinking about how we can better segment our
audience/personas. Here’s what I think we have.

Beginner/Tourist - Looking around, trying to understand what we do, *maybe*
interested in working with a project.

GSOC - This is a specialized audience: Seasonal, focused, and usually
young/student. They want specific information and process.

Contributors - This one is harder, because there are several sub-categories
        First time contributor
        Committer
        PMC member

Companies - In addition to the starter information I’ve contributed (not yet
linked anywhere in the nav) we might want to offer more details instructions
about how to engage with projects, how to avoid (even the perception of) vendor
overreach/control, instructions for managers about how to encourage upstream
engagement, but also how to explain it to *their* managers - that kind of stuff.

Events/meetups/ALC - This feels like a different category, but isn’t really a
different audience. Not sure if we want to focus solely on audience/persona, or
if some topic-based is helpful, too.

What are we missing from this list?
