Yes, these guidelines still apply. Refer email thread[1] for reference mail.

I think a better idea would be to have it under ASF. Do you have any
specific requirements for setting up an organization?

Refer email thread[2], there were some initial efforts, but the
website development is still pending. New contributions are most
welcomed :)  I think we could definitely use ALC logos.

You could post it on social media post approval. If you have any
sponsors, must be framed as supporting the specific ALC event, not ASF
