Last I saw was Emmanuel's "ok for me". I think lazy consensus applies
- branch now so that trunk is still open for people to start working
towards 1.4.0. If anything desperately needs to be merged, that can
happen, but I trust people will be judicious about it :)

Any further thoughts on this? I still see new features going into
trunk, which means we'll probably need another Beta before we can get
a GA release out of the 1.3.x line.

I'm interested in documentation and in easing the upgrade process from
1.2.x to 1.3.x. Is the export-and-import process still necessary or
has that been improved?
