I am running into some issues with the js for bb playbook. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this, but it appears that the requestFileSystem object isn't being clobbered by the blackberry/plugin/air/requestFileSystem one. It instead loads the common one and tried to exec which causes it to die.
On the plus side, bb7 seems to work okay.
