sounds the culprit might be a line in the jakefile:
 "lib/firefoxos/plugin/firefoxos/Device.js":/(this\.cordova\s=\s").+(")/,

in place of:
 "lib/firefoxos/plugin/firefoxos/device.js":/(this\.cordova\s=\s").+(")/,
