Sorry, that may have been a little harsh, Joe -- I certainly hadn't seen
your last email on this thread when I wrote that.

I agree with you, that this shouldn't be a huge nightmare for developers.
(I don't know the specifics of the 1.0 - 2.0 changes, so I can't say
whether this will be worse than that). 3.0 is definitely the time to break
cleanly, and we'll just do our best to give everyone as much hand-holding
as we can through the transition.
