You could look for an issue on Jira[1]. Which issue is up to you, it might be smart to start with a smaller/easier issue if you are not really familiar with Cordova. So if you are familiar with C#, you might want to fix some Windows Phone issues. If you know Java, android issues might suite you better. It really depends on what you like and maybe what device you got.
