The button should appear on top of the video element hence we need the
higher z-index value. We can keep the same z-index values same as well since
the convention is that the element added later overlaps the earlier one if the
z-index values are same which in this case will hold as we are adding the video
element before the buttons. But this helps for understanding purposes and I
assume this was the reason for the earlier values(999 and 1000) as well.
