Hi Mathias, A nice welcome from me. It's always great to see people who are using Cordova for some becoming interested in contributing. Do you need anything to get started? If you have experience in some of these parts of Cordova feel free to do code reviews on pull requests.
Maybe someone else here on the list has ideas where help is needed (mabye documentation). I always think contributing is easier if you "scratch your own itch". My journey was similar. I used Cordova for a while and started doing some fixes for problems we found here and there.
