Hi

I agree to deprecate the OSX platform, and the blog post would be a good
moment to announce the deprecation.

However, I have no experience with the Catalyst workflow. But I am always
sceptical with Mac tools, a lot of times it is too much closed source IMO.

But when I think about making a webbased crossplatform native desktop app,
I would automatically look at Electron.
I have some experience with Electron (not with the electron cordova
platform), and I did like developing the web part of an Electron app.
When working on the installers and native progressbars and stuff like that
it became more difficult.
We did develop our Electron app for Windows.

As I said, I have no experience with the Cordova Electron platform, but *if
it is cross platform and it supports building for OSx, Linux and Windows*,
I would suggest the *Electron Cordova platform (or Electron plain) platform
as an alternative*.

Kind regards
Pieter
